Additional Services
For the protection of your pet, the Zoo's animals and other guests the Toronto Zoo does not permit pets of any kind on Zoo property. If the Zoo's policy conflicts with the special needs of one of our guests, where the use of an assistance/utility dog is required we will make every effort to ensure our guest enjoys the best possible experience while at the Zoo.

As a result, we are pleased to provide guests who require the use of an assistance/utility dog with the following accommodations to help ensure a safe and enjoyable visit:
  • Zoo staff will care for the dog in a safe, air-conditioned office located in the Membership Centre at the main entrance. This often includes walking, feeding or watering the dog.
  • We will provide a tour guide for the duration of the visit. Our volunteer guides have a wealth of knowledge about the Zoo and guests are treated to a more "in-depth" visit that they would have otherwise been able to enjoy.
Please call our Guest Services staff at 416-392-5929 to make the necessary arrangements.
